Forge Stainless Steel 15-5 PH within a temperature range of 1050-1150°C (1922-2102°F). The typical reduction ratio is around 4:1. Post-forging heat treatment is essential to relieve stresses and achieve the desired hardness and mechanical properties.
To stress relieve Stainless Steel 15-5 PH, heat it to a temperature range of 620-760°C (1148-1400°F) for 1-2 hours. Slow cooling is recommended to stabilize the material and minimize the introduction of new stresses.
