DIN 1.2714

DIN 1.2714 Grade Introduction:

1.2714 is a German Hot work alloy steel material grade.it is shock-resisting steel. it belongs to DIN 17350 standard. Digital Grade material number W-Nr 1.2714, Metal Steel grade 56NiCrMoV7. It is a die steel, use in extrusion molds, Hot Cast molds. like aluminum production, Aluminum cast mold. Our Tool Steel material 100 % ultrasonic tested at a good price. Small size steel products make by hot rolled, large size steel products make by forging.

Forging Properties:

For forging 1.2714 steel, Slowly Pre-heat, at Hot-working temperature/℃: 1050~850

Stress Relieving:

When tools made from 1.2714 steel are heavily machined or ground, the relief of internal strains is advisable before hardening to minimize the possibility of distortion. Stress-relieving of this grade should be done after rough machining. To stress relief, heat the component carefully to 600-650°C, allow a good soaking period, about two hours per 25mm of section. Cool in the furnace to 500°C then freely in the air. Tools may then be finish machined before hardening.
