CW-1
CW-1Grade Introduction:
The high-quality USA AISI CW-1 material is one of the more steel grades we supply, W-Ta-Nb-Ti-Co class carbide. CW-1 is our main production grade, which has been approved by customers in many countries since its initial production, including our CW-1 round bars, flat bar, forgings, fasteners, tubes, wires, strips, sheets & Plates, as well as a variety of profiles, professional high precision auto-lathe processing manufacturer of clinching fasteners, axes, standoffs, screws, studs, nuts, bolt, OEM parts and special-shaped turning parts the state of delivery includes quenched and tempered, annealed, machined semi-finished products, we also have strict management of the packaging, to avoid material damage from transportation. We are the best supplier of CW-1 materials, and we are willing to develop together with customers from all over the world.
CW-1 Grade Application:
- Plastic injection molds and inserts
- Plastic injection and extrusion feed screws
- Non-return valve components
- Pelletizing equipment
- Nozzles
- Gate and nozzle inserts.
- Industrial knives, slitters, and cutters.
- Gear pumps.
- Bearings, bushings, valves, rolls.

Forging Properties:
Heat slowly to 2000/2100°F (1093/1149°C). Do not work below 1700°F (927°C). Reheat as necessary. Cool forgings slowly and anneal immediately upon cooling.
Stress Relieving:
Annealed Parts: Heat to 1100-1300°F (593-705°C), hold 2 hours, then furnace cool or cool in still air.
Hardened Parts: Heat to 25-50°F (15-30°C) below original tempering temperature, hold 2 hours, then furnace cool or cool in still air.
