SAE 52100
SAE 52100 Grade Introduction:
SAE 52100 Grade introduction:
SAE 52100 bearing steel is a high-quality Alloy Bearing steel, It belongs to high carbon, chromium-containing low alloy steel. SAE 52100 Oil Quenched & Tempered Hardness is 28-34 HRC. SAE 52100 steel Annealing delivery hardness less than 250HB.
SAE 52100 Alloy bearing steel properties is a chromium, manganese alloy steel specification. SAE 52100 is equivalent to DIN 100Cr6, GB GCr15 steel. Most applications can replace each other.

Forging Properties:
AISI 52100 alloy steel is forged at 927 to 1205°C, and should not be forged below 925ºC. A post-forge equalization treatment is recommended at 745ºC for 4-6 hours followed by air cooling for SAE/AISI 52100 steel.
Stress Relieving:
Heat it up to 600-700℃, stay the temperature, furnace cooling. The need for the hardness of mold steel is 187-229HBS. The characters remove the work hardening and residual stress.
